The 3rd issue of my report on Aurora Australis through the Japanese travel book Chikyu-no-Arukikata’s website is on-line.
The locations shown on this edition are where you can go from Dunedin for aurora hunting if you are prepared to do a little longer drive. The top picture is the most recent aurora captured in Dunedin on 10 March 2018. The picture of the aurora at Lake Pukaki below Mt. Cook is from February 2018.
This is the 3rd article.

Chikyu-No-Arukikata translates to “How to Walk this Planet” and it is a major Japanese overseas travel guidebook that’s been around for 35 years. It is the Japanese-version of “Lonely Planet” (ref: http://travel-ad.com/index_en.html)
