2015 Aurora talk show “Beauty While you Sleep”

It was quite a full-on aurora night last night.

The event “Beauty While you Sleep” had total of 900 people attending for the 2 session full of good information about auroras. While the event was on, aurora alerts continuously alarmed us of potentially large aurora rising (Max KP6.33 at one stage) and explaining that to the audience the stadium’s event stage packed with people filled up with excitements. Immediately after the event, my friends and I rushed out for aurora shooting to see a nice aurora display at a spectacular location in Dunedin.

It was fantastic to see so many people interested in aurora. There were people all over the Dunedin that night.NZ_IYL_logo
