There has been a\u00a0decline in the appearance\u00a0of auroras this year with\u00a0the sun being\u00a0quiet compared to the more active past few years.<\/p>\n

But there had still been\u00a0few good auroras. I went to one of my favourite location to see auroras back in April and early May before the temperature dropped and became\u00a0winter.
\nI went with my son one night.\u00a0He had\u00a0childcare next day but since the evening had gotten darker we could see the aurora before his bedtime.<\/p>\n

More photos of auroras were also taken at the same place couple of\u00a0weeks before.
\nI went more closer to the ocean which I would hesitate to do with a child in the dark and salt water splashing towards the large rocks.<\/p>\n
